Over the past years, Kathan Kamps has welcomed kampers and visitors from at least 16 states, and countries including Austria, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Spain, and Venezuela.
"This is our 23rd year at Kathan Kamps - mostly all spent in ABC. It is truly a beautiful spot - hope to continue to come here."
"Although milder and more overcast than usual, we swam every day, played tennis, croquet, shuffleboard and baseball and had a delightful time together. Our families have wonderful memories of vacationing at Kathan Kamps!"
"We went to Papa's ice cream twice, went tubing, skiing, and played flashlight tag with some people we were getting to know. It has been very nice weather and I hate to leave. I just can't wait until next year!!!"
"Aaaah,,,,Kathan Kamps! What a picture perfect week. Great food, fun, family, and sun! We took our oldest son for his first sail, and 2 older sons on their first canoeing and row boating excursions. They loved it! Thank you so much for this wonderful place where we come to every year for a family reunion and much needed R&R. It's idyllic!)"
"Wow - our 5th year at ABC! We keep enjoying it every year and add new memories. This year Alex and Jack went tubing for the first time and had a ball. They also learned to do flips off the dock. Richard and Steven thought the beach was the best sandbox they had ever seen, loved the paddleboat and wanted to go off the end of the dock just like their older brothers! We had a delightful time!"
"The "missing" week in these records over the past five years have belonged to the Regans for Bowling Freen, Ohio. My brother and his wife have been coming here for nearly 30 years. The last 20 (at least) in Dorchet We spent one year in Pine and have the pleasure of ABC now. The one floor allows our moms (ages 82 and86) to stay with us. Treasured time. Our son loves the Adirondacks and come in from Denver for a few days when he can. It's our wonderful family reunion - hoping for the continued blessing of time here, together for the future. To whoever stocked all the wonderful books - Thanks!"

"1994. John's first time back since 1967. This time he brought his family with him. A nice week was had by all. John was thrilled to see that most of camp was still the same as when he was a kid in Pine with his parents and sister. He finally convinced his wife and kids to spend a week by the lake, and how we all love it. We highly recommend Papa's Ice Cream! Lots of cacheable frogs on the nature trail. The suntans might fade, but Kathan memories sure won't!"
